Dr. Shri Iyer has more than 20 years of global experience with multinational, Philips Electronics, NV of the Netherlands (Components division) in the functional areas of Process and Product Design and Development, Technology Development and Management, Product Marketing, General Marketing, Customer Interface Management and Business Development.

He brings a unique combination of technical and business acumen having held key senior management positions in  Product and Process development and in Marketing for Philips Display Components in the USA.  As head of Product Marketing he was responsible for P&L of more than $600M.

Dr. Iyer has a BE, M.Tech and PhD in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Nagpur; Indian Institute of Technology, Powai, India and Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, IL, USA respectively.

Director: Mr. Venkatesh Iyengar

Mr. Venk Iyengar has a combined work and management experience of over 22 years with General Motors, Delphi and DaimlerChrysler Corporation. His background includes R & D, Product & Equipment Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality Systems. 

His areas of expertise encompass manufacturing engineering and operations of Powertrain Components and Systems, automotive electronics for Displays, on board diagnostics, components for ignition, fuel delivery/ handling, air induction and emission controls. 

Mr. Iyengar is a Certified Blackbelt (Shainin & DCX). He has extensive contacts and solid working relationship with OEM and Tier 1 suppliers within automotive industry.

Mr. Iyengar has BE and ME in Metallurgical Engineering from National Institute of Technology Nagpur and Tiruchirapalli, India and MS in Materials Engineering from Drexel University, Pennsylvania, USA.

CFO: Mr. Michael Froelich

Mike brings over 25 years of financial, licensing and business management experience. He is a practicing CPA, specializing in tax-related matters, and is a co-founder of Onset CFO, LLC, a provider of financial management services focusing on growth-oriented companies during their start-up phase.

From 1995 to 2000 he was General Manager for PORT Systems, LLC and CFO for TSRL, Inc., two related Life Sciences companies based in Ann Arbor and affiliated with the University of Michigan.  While there he negotiated for and directed the raising of $7+ million in equity and development funding.  He has worked closely with the University of Michigan Technology Management Office in securing research and patent rights and has negotiated numerous licensing and development contracts.  

Mike holds a CPA, and has 14 years of experience with Deloitte & Touche in the accounting and tax areas.  He was Director of Tax in the firm’s Ann Arbor office.  He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, and holds a BBA from the University of Michigan. 

Mike has served as a member of the Finance Committee of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists.  He is a former member of the Licensing Executives Society, where he has completed the rigorous Intellectual Asset Management course.  He also served as a Director of the Oral Drug Delivery Foundation and is past Chair of the Washtenaw County Red Cross Chapter.
